Mixed in with all my journals is one I keep more secret (it has an actual lock on it!), it’s leather-bound, with a beautiful engraving of my name on it and I refer to it as my ‘eros’ journal! There’s nothing quite like giving yourself permission to write about the most taboo things, confront your sexuality daily, and have an outlet for your instinctual side!

What I love most about the eros journal is it contains the most alive parts of me, the most intimate words, and the most love of my shadow. It’s been incredibly cathartic and gotten me in touch with erotic artistry and devotion. Today I’m sharing with you my favorite 5 things to write in an eros journal:

  1. Upon waking up each morning, write one or two sentences with the prompt: “Today I feel erotic about __________''  How is life turning you on lately? Think of something that is feeding you the most life force energy/ eros…something you feel natural passion around. It can be carried over from the night before, or a general theme of the week…you might be surprised what flows out of you! (ex: my breasts, dating older men, dating younger men, food, my breath, Kali, God, coffee, etc.)
