The Core Wound Awakens: Choosing Light Over Shadows
How the Gene Keys Help You Rewrite the Past and Choose the Future
THANK YOU for being here and investing some of your time in my substack- I keep seeing new subscribers here and my heart is grateful!🙏😊
Today I want to share one about core wounds:
The core wound is something that you experienced in childhood, but unconsciously/ innocently as a kid.
With the Gene Keys you get to see it consciously, and CHOOSE differently in the moment as an adult.
I am in awe of how rapidly my core wounds have activated, digested, and released since I started engaging the gene keys venus sequence. To be quite honest, I’m struggling lately because my core wounds are blowing up!
I’m wise enough to know this is ok and part of the process…I’m doing the inner work by going through the Venus Sequence course twice. I’m contemplating my core shadows/ gifts/ siddhis daily and using Richard Rudd’s art of self-gentleness.
My deepest core wound is conflict and it sits on the rejection line (line 4).
As a kid I constantly felt rejected in school and it created lots of conflict- with my parents, with teachers and counselors, and in my teen years with drugs and alcohol.
I was in denial that anything was wrong when my mom engaged in fights and drama repeatedly with a married man which went on for most of my youth.
I fell into the lower frequencies (depression, avoidance, fear, self-destruction) and reacted in the moment, with no help or guidance of how to get out of it.
Now as an adult I can look at my gene keys map and see the gifts connected to conflict: diplomacy and peace. (Side note: I’ve tried cognitive therapy, dream therapy, embodiment work, Alanon and women’s support groups- but Gene Keys is what resonates the most.)
So, I am climbing deep into the shadow and re-wiring my brain.
Re-templating my nervous system to the frequencies of a diplomat in the middle of a fight. Embodying peaceful detachment right at the moment of rejection when I want to lash out and sustain the conflict.
This is not for the faint of heart. I’m so sorry if you are also re-visiting your childhood wounds and having to re-template them like a spiritual warrior. But I’m thankful to have found Gene Keys…it is proving itself to be a path that truly transforms shadows into light, and fear into love.
2 ways you can work with me as a gene keys guide:
King making coaching for men (we use gene keys + masculine archetypes within a system of Inner Marriage to tease out your power and charisma)
Book a gene keys session (1-hr zoom call or emailed pdf, open to everyone)
