Excellent video and message. Agree the bound up energy is in the shadow, both types. Takes alot to repress and that is a drain at baseline.

Something I've learned in shadow work whether I'm holding onto being right or open to seeing my shadow at work. The former is a protective but also blinding and is counter productive. The latter can take some coaxing/permission to set aside, or suspend the wanting to be right, but when I do it opens up space to seeing my unspoken or invisible parts in a narrative, that are the content of a projection. Owning that is the next step.

I like this idea of golden shadow, useful to look at what's positive in myself that is worth expressing more.

Something interesting- Carl Jung said 90% of the shadow was golden! Pretty cool, huh? Like in his view, most of it could be turned into positive fuel once we meet it.

My great takeaway and the forever supportive reminder is “balance.” It’s also fun to notice when people are projecting onto me what they havent come to know/be aware of within themselves yet. I was riffing on the harms of patriarchal religious control for a few moments yesterday with a friend of mine. I happened to use a voice that was not my normal voice when I said it. My friend, dear one, is in the depths of conservative Christian paradigms that perceive all that is not scripture-backed as demonic. Of course when I riffed about patriarchy and its impacts within our shared realm of spiritual perceiving, it was projected onto me that I was expressing a demonic voice when in reality I know its his projecting onto me his un processed shadows when it comes to dominance and control and religious authority that doesn’t have everyone’s best interest at heart. I also dont think I can tell him that because I’d probably be further demonized. So I will say a little here and just walk in the paradox. Anywho, lots of discomfort in the paradox of holding proposing views when it comes to Christian moral superiority these days and how its playing out.

great work. Have you read sexual personae. By Camile Paglia.

“If you live in rock and roll, as I do, you see the reality of sex, of male lust and women being aroused by male lust. It attracts women. It doesn't repel them.”― Camille Paglia

Thank you😊 yes I studied her work years ago- she was super intriguing and kind of radical. I liked how she wove in Greek mythology. That quote is 🔥 and interesting that she puts it in the context of rock n roll- so lots of male ‘lover-rebel’ energy there.

Yeh I find her works even more poignant in this time with mythos meeting the libido on screens and IRL.

Yeh she is a radical apostate in a good sense of weaving and displaying alot of harsh truths about it all.

keep up the good work BTW enjoy watching your videos and reading your pieces.
